Length: 15 - 17 cm Characteristics: Smaller than the Ringed plover with black spots on the chest, bills and feet are black. During the Winter, the male, female and the juveniles have brown-yellow spots on the chest and head. During the Summer, the male shows black spots on the sides of the chest and on the head.
