Length: 24 - 27 cm Characteristics: A lamicolu with average size, strong, similar to the common-sandpiper but larger, with shorter bill and feet. During the winter the dorse is grey on the upper part and lighter on the edge of the feathers. The bottom part is white with light spots on the breast and sides. During the Summer, it is spotted with black and brown; the face and bottom part is brown-red; the wings are grey and black. Phenology: Migrant and Winter bird
